Job Description: The position of IT Network Administrator will have the responsibility for system administration, network administration and direct end-user desktop support.

The IT Network Administrator performs a wide range of system administration duties, including support of corporate enterprise applications for approximately 100 end users (growing to 200 in the next 5 years), databases, laptops, servers and network equipment.

Responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):

• Proactively oversee the monitoring of all IT devices, applications and services.

• Manage and troubleshoot networks as well as intranet, VPN, and internet connectivity throughout the organization.

• Ensure that regular and on-demand system backup and recovery are handled efficiently and effectively.

• Administer and maintain Azure VM Application Servers that host accounting, estimating & design software, and building operations software.

• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 environment which encompasses Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams (which is utilized for phone system).

• Administer and maintain Ubiquiti- UniFi routers, switches, and access points deployed in all office locations.

• Troubleshoot issues with all systems - Outlook, wireless, VPN, network and printer connectivity.

• Act as the liaison between vendors and the company for hardware and software purchases.

• Maintain Microsoft security patches, antivirus and antispyware software on desktop and laptop systems.

• Track and manage company network/computer assets

• Plan and budget IT projects that include replacing/upgrading IT equipment including firewall, servers, switches and rack and hosted solutions.

• Supervise growth and support of Enterprise Solutions network deployments for customers.

• Assist and educate internal company resources on network design and components used in projects.

• Flexible to work outside normal working hours as required.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• Excellent customer service, communication and presentation skills.

• Windows operating system administration experience, both server and desktop.

• Experience designing and managing networks.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, SNMP, Active Directory, SSL, VPN, MS SQL and Access.

• Experience with Server 2016, 2019 and 2022, Azure, and Microsoft 365.

• Experience with UniFi network products.

• Experience with Synology NAS solutions and deployment.
